Unraveling Wing Chun Chum Kiu

The second book of the Unraveling Wing Chun series. Unraveling Chum Kiu, covers the second form in the Wing Chun system. This form introduces the student to the tactics of controlling the bridge during a fight at close distance.

The essence of Chum Kiu is fighting from and controlling the clinch, offering options to control the bridge by sinking, jamming, redirecting and pulling so as to hit with impunity and end the fight. The second book breaks down the form, indicated how to properly interpret forms, and also includes idiom to aid the student in clarification of interpretation. The forms applications are demonstrated and clarified in order to give the Wing Chun student a clear direction on how important this form is to fully understand as it relates to combat scenarios.
